Bottles and plastic containers which have to be pressed down and turned to release the ratchet mechanism.
Jars of pickles and preserves which have to be pierced.
Cardboard fruit juice containers which have too small a cap to be able to get a positive grip to unscrew.
Cardboard soup containers where it is necessary to tear the top apart to open.
Battery operated drills and garden tools where the battery has to be released from the tool; inserted in the charger and the released from the charger.
These releases require the thumb and first or second finger to squeeze the release catches either side of the battery at the same time pull the battery free.
Just a few of the problems I recognise in my every day life.
